The APR-40 MLRS is a self-propelled multiple rocket launcher system intended for defeating manpower and soft skin targets in immediate tactical depth. It is based on DAC 665 truck chassis. The launcher consists of two removable modules each with 20 launching tubes that are banked in four rows of five. A resupply vehicle based on the same 6x6, 5000 kg, chassis, carries two reload modules and a rear mounted MH90 hydraulically operated crane with a lifting capacity of 6000 kg at the min and 2000 at the max outreach. Replacing the expended modules takes about 10 minutes.
