AHiBCoS is a general purpose digital communications system designed for use on both tactical and strategic levels in stationary and field (mobile) military installations. Its open and universal architecture may be based on the network commutation of the TDM channels as well as on the network commutation of IP packets. Features such as: dynamic network resources allocation, extended auto diagnostics (starting from extensive BITE at modules level), maintenance and management systems, integrated CVSD/PCM/VoIP speech encoding converters and direct cooperation with ISDN devices allow AHiBCoS to successfully compete with products of the world’s leading manufacturers of special telecommunications equipment (eg. SATCOM capabilities may be added as Commanders back-up channels or full operations SATCOM routing for over the horizon comms).
