The PZL- Sokół helicopter is a multi-purpose, twin engine, single main rotor helicopter of 6.400 kg gross weight and an aircrew of one or two pilots. Its design, performance and reliability allow day and night, VFR and IFR flying in ATC controlled airspace, all weather operations, up to 6.000 meters ASL and within -40oC to +43oC. The PZL-Sokół features a high comfort of flying due to a low vibration level and sound proofing of its cabin provided, as a standard, with heating and ventilation and, as an option, with air conditioning. Also, the PZL-Sokół is provided with two axis stability augmentation system and, upon request, with 3 or 4 axis autopilot.
