The engine features an original design of the rotating unit which is supported by two bearings. The unit consists of six stage compressor rotor, connecting shaft and one stage turbine rotor.
The external structure of the engine consists of inlet casing, compressor casing, combustion chamber casing and exhaust pipe. Fuel supply and control system is of hydromechanical-electronic type. Such design ensures accurate control of selected engine parameters.
