The modular CRR-64 call recording system offers reliable and secure system of connection registration, searches, archiving, and recording management. It ensures recording of digital quality, free from disturbances typical for analogue devices, with unchanging quality throughout the whole period of archiving. The CRR-64 system serves to record signals in the bands from 3.4 kHz coming from an analogue telecommunication line (MB, CB, TN) or from selected 64kbit/s channels in an E1 highway. In addition, it supports the logging of signals from an S0 interface for ISDN lines. The CRR-64 recorder can be connected to a line in the line termination or monitoring mode (simultaneously in the high impedance mode). The CRR-64 recorder ensures the optimum storing of data. It archives recordings both on hard disk as well as most replaceable media utilised (magnetic-optic drives, ZIP drives, streamers, and CD-RW writers). The multi-level access control system of the DRR-64 recorder is supported by the Windows NT security system and requires the authorisation of the user to gain access to particular functions and channels. Access rights of a user are checked for configuration, monitoring, playback, replacements of media, formatting of media, password creation, and closing (of the system). The CRR-64 recorder supports the programmed search of the recording data base according to the following criteria: · recording time · archiving medium · recording compression · recording device · cause of recording commencement · description of recording · name of user initiating the connection · name of user called The CRR-64 recorder supports the overall capability of playback of recorded recordings. It allows the playing back of both a whole recording as well as any of its fragments, the reading of parameters, change of description, regulation of volume, and rewinding of a recording during playback.
