The DGT 3450WW is designed for military communication systems networking in the field.
It is made up of the following components (each component of the system is kept in a special carry case or transport trunk):
§ DGT 3450WW exchange together with set of wires and additional equipment
– DGT 3490C digital system set
– DGT 3490A digital operator console with 40 lines
– UPS – DB20EWW type
– BDP 20-30E battery
– Field cross-connector – PK 10-WW type (10m lines with E1 line)
§ Digital Millimetre Wave Radio System DGT 8110WW and additional equipment (UPS and battery)
The DGT 3450WW exchange is aimed to organise military communication system in field conditions. It is adapted to be installed on mobile wheel type means of transport (Mobile Communication Nodes). The DGT 3450WW digital exchanges can co-operate with standard telephone sets using the decade (pulse) or multi-frequency (DTMF code) way of dialling as well as with other subscriber terminals equipment (e.g. pay phone sets, telefaxes, digital ISDN sets as well as private branch exchanges and with Public Telephone network exchanges of electro-mechanic or electronic type.).
These exchanges are equipped so they enable to connect operator stands (consoles), operator terminals, computer, printer etc.
