Military Institute of Armament Technology is one of the scientific research centre of Polish Army.
The Institute carries various projects for the Armed Forces and defence industry.

The following areas are covered with studies carried at the Institute:

- small arms
- artillery and rockets
- composition and reactive armours
- radar engineering
- weapon and ammunition technological processes

The Institute pos

- ircraft Works render services of overhaul, repairs and technical inspections of supersonic and other military jet aircraft.

The Works employ highly qualified personnel and provide testing stands, processing tooling and other specialized equipment for:

• overhaul of SU-22 and MIG-29 aircraft
• high level repair and reconditioning of aviation spare parts and assemblies of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic and electrical systems

The Works also offer a wide range of technological services:

• electroplating: zinc, cadmium, nickel, chromium, silver and copper plating; anodizing of aluminium alloys, oxidizing of steel and aluminium
• all machining works, including turning, milling, grinding, dry and wet cleaning, sandblasting, welding and heat treatment
