Military Mechanical Works render services of overhaul, repairs, technical inspections, modernization and reconditioning of tanks, combat infantry and reconnaissance vehicles, caterpillar and wheeled engineering vehicles, engines, transmission and other assemblies.
The Works employ highly qualified personnel and provide testing stands, processing tooling and other specialized equipment for:
• overhaul of T-55 and T-72 type tanks and upgrading T-55 to T-55AM version,
• overhaul and modernization of BMP-1 IFVs and BRDM cars
• high level repair and reconditioning of diesel engines up to 1200 HP, including W-46 and W-54/55, HENSCHEL, RABA-MAN, LEYLAND and UTD-20 types; upgrading W-54 to W-55 and W-55U versions and W-46-6 to W-46-6U
• repair and reconditioning of engine and transmission assemblies, including injection and fuel pumps; water pumps, oil filters and compressors
• manufacturing of specialized tools and stands;
• reconditioning and machining services including pad welding, chromium and electro-plating, heat and thermal-chemical treatment, etc.

The capabilities of the Works include also transfer of know-how for repair and modernization of tank technology, including supply of:
• technical documentation
• special machines and tooling• spare parts
• training of staff
