The PT-91 Main Battle Tank is a modern, powerful, mobile and heavy armoured vehicle intended for use with break-through operation. It has conventional design with driver\'s compartment in front, the combat compartment with automatic gun loading system in the middle and power system in its rear part. It is provided with a 125 mm smooth-bore two-plane stabilised gun, coaxial 7,62 mm machine gun PKT. It can also be outfitted with a 12,7 NSV heavy machine gun. The crew of 3 men is well protected by an all welded spaced steel hull and one piece casting turret, both additionally covered under reactive armour. The tank is provided with NBC protection system (option).
